I have a Ainol Novo 7 Advance that worked perfectly for the first six months and then the Wi Fi suddenly stopped working.
I have opened the unit hoping to see minor problems with the copper antennae that I may be able to correct, but instead, I discovered that this unit do not carry the usual length of wire or the compact flexible one where you can see the wire winding in a clear film, but a small solid module. I have never seen one of those before and have no idea what I am looking at.
Can anyone tell me if this is repairable, for example, can I remove the module and insert a piece of wire? Or do I have to accept that this unit will never do Wi Fi again.
Thanks for any advise.
