1.4 update and battery life

Since the update battery life has been a lot better and I'm getting a full charge in 5-6 hrs now. anyone else get a change for the better?

My battery life is improving but it was doing that before the update. As for charge time I plugged mine in last night at bedtime and after 8 hours I'm still waiting for the green light. However, I did run it down to 8% before putting it on the charger.

I've run mine down well past the 20% warning level and the next morning the green light's always been on.
