i have seen videos of other android tablets on youtube able to use 3g usb modems to connect to the internet. Will it be possible on kyros unrooted? Btw, i am using mid8024.

For a 3g modem to work you will need the drivers for the modem and the kernel setup to use those drivers. Does the tablet support 3g usb modems? No one knows. Best bet is if you have a 3g modem try it out. Post back what you find out.

Then the question! And why in 8024 the system folders have a settings file and some phones also support file, or that he vetom like that?

My kyros 7024 can use 3g usb modem huawei 1550

Sent from my Coby Kyros 7024

And how would you he was forced to "see" the modem? Can the manual? Rootirovan Do you have a tablet?

For MID8024 you need a 3g modem that is listed in the Settings->Wireless &networks->3G Network Settings->New 3g Connection under the modem selction combo.

Tested with Huawei 156G works nicely.

Where do you find -Settings->Wireless &networks->3G Network Settings->New 3g Connection under the modem selction combo. там нет ничего такого

Now this is interesting. I currently have a Coby MID7015 with OS 2.1, and Rooted. I also have a Franklin CDU-680 USB 3G Modem. Any thoughts on getting this to work; I have unlimited wireless service for this card and normally use it on a laptop while traveling. The tablet would REALLY be nice while visiting my many doctors' appointments.
