I have placed an order for the Coby 7022-4G. (I think this will give me the best bag for the buck.)

Can this device play 5.1 AAC audio in my video files? The Archos player can but I have been burned by Archos and not giving up my cash to them again.

If the base video player can not, is there another video player that can be loaded to the Coby?

I don't have any of my own at this time that you could down load. (Too big)

But you might be able to look for some Apple Trailers that have the 5.1 aac.

I can confirm it plays 5.1 aac just fine. Downloaded a 1080p trailer with 5.1 and it played it just fine.

Rockplayer lite (Google market) works well for me. Available as unlimited trial and plays all formats I have tried.

Have you tried paying a video file with 5.1 AAC with the Rock player?

(My Tablet is delayed some how in shipping)

Rock player is not needed. The app that comes with it plays all the files I've thrown at it.
