7 Inch ePad vm8650 2.2 Tablet

Hey guys, i was very curious weather or not if this tablet is compatable with custom roms! This is where i bought it from 7 Inch ePad Android 2.2 Tablet PC with Wi-Fi + 3G Capability - US$ 79.19 Or is this the same tablet as the MID v7 tablets? and is it usable with this custom rom [ROM] - Universal (HYBRiD) HoneyCombMOD Uberoid for WM8650 devices v1.3.0 w/ Video - SlateDroid.com Thanks! Getting it for my brother and need to know!

i just bought one two weeks ago , same model, and I'm having wifi connection issues. I've heard of an over heat to it's antenna. It's frustrating and if you surf the threads on this forum you'll read about many wifi connection issues. Won't connect at all, disconnects after a few minutes, won't stay connected...ect ect and blah blah blah.
I wish I had done my research before making my purchase of this product. I would stay away. go for a different tablet.

yeah ive read about that also. its coming in the mail any day. i was wondering if there is any way to find or backup the stock rom that came with it! I need to find a way to flash back in-case something goes wrong.

One more thing, just to make sure. Uberoid, Udroidx, and Modroid are all custom roms that work with it right?
