7125 and CWM

I have a coby kyros 7125. I rooted and installed CWM
Using CWM I have a problem.
When complete with its task, providing it isn't the first menu (ie Backup/Restore, etc) and in
a submenu (ie Install update from zip) it doesn't allow me to back up a screen to get to the
reboot menu item. What it does do is to let me reset table then opens up to CWM first menu
and allow me to reboot.
Is this the way it is supposed to work since the silver button is used to return to the home
screen, not back-up?

once you get in, on the first menu, you have to scroll down and cycle thru all options about 6 or 7 times. Then a message will appear on the bottom of your screen saying the menu back option is enable. yes it doesn't make much sense.

It took me just two cycles through the menu but thanks very much for your help.
And I agree, it doesn't make much sense
