What is everyone else loving about this tablet? What is everyone using it for? Work, Fun, testing?

I'll be using mine mainly for surfing the net and a little game play. I may also be using it at work more than I thought. Using Wyse Pocket Cloud Free, I was able to RDP into my work PC (from the internal network) and work on things while I was at other user's desks working on their PCs.

What are you going to use yours for?

MODS: Can you move this to the A500 Forum? Sorry, posted it in the wrong spot.

flashplayer porn. duh.

I use it for watching Star Trek at work and surfing the web while sitting in bed without a massive laptop burning my crotch like a STD.

I use mine largely as an reader, surfing the web on the go, videos, light work (writing)

Right now I am using it as a test model against my Xoom. If I keep it I will be using it for couch browsing, games, and travel in place of my laptop.

Reading Books, email, proving my wife is wrong when watching TV. I travel extensively and this will let me leave my 6lb laptop home.

Browsing the web, checking email, reading the news, listening to internet radio, watching videos on youtube, posting on forums... hmmm!

Replaced my Apple 16mb wifi only. got $350 for it on Craigslist and this Acer A500 was only $449.. plus tax of course. Au Revoir Apple!

I was about to pull the trigger on an iPad2 16Gb but as always the store do not keep it in stock but they always have the 64Gb in stock to kinda sway you to purchase the more expensive model if you really wanted to have the iPad2 NOW. I am very familiar with Android System, my phone is a My Touch Slide with the Android 2.2 update, I have an e-reader Black pandigital Novel which is hacked, lucky for me no iPads2 16Gb so I went to check out the Xoom and the Iconia, and WOW compared to an iPad2 geez hands down no questions asked that iPad is no match to what the Iconia A500 can do and for a better price, the Android Honeycomb is fantastic, I use my tablet for business and pleasure too, a majority of my important docs are in Google Docs so I can easily access them, when I make designs for race cars I do the renderings and upload the photos in Gdocs which i can access on my phone and my old Pandigital Novel, but now with the Iconia A500 I can do lots more, and the great thing about it is that all my stuff on my phone syncs with my tablet. I am very happy with this purchase, now I can fully appreciate the tablet, I read my news from here and abroad, my emails, my ip cameras, I do paper works for my office, I can play games like scrabble so many things you can do with this unit and the best part the apps are mostly free.

Mine has replaced my ipad. During the week I use it at work syncing my outlook email, calendar and tasks. I also take notes in the various meetings I attend daily. No more bringing pen and paper. I download pdf files to read related to work and carry my excel files with me from meeting to meeting.

When not at work I surf the net, use twitter, facebook, foursquare, Wordpress and take photos with the camera.
I also use it to view my digital photos I take with my Canon, as the USB port reads my card reader fine. So much easier than the ipad.

At night, hate to admit it, but it is Angry Birds.....

Yesterday I was flying from Barcelona to India and my A500 let me finish reading my novel and start another. Absolutely great.

I'm keep searching (...and waiting) for Honeycomb optimized apps/games so that I can have most of the apps I used on my iTouch 4G on the Iconia as well...

I just got this tablet and by the way love Star trek. I'm new to androids as a whole. Can someone direct me to apps where I can download movies, shows, and videos I can watch...as well as videos I can downlload to my tab so that I can watch while not being online? any hel would be appreciated.

Reading books, checking email, playing games, reading RSS feeds (Feedly is great!), journaling, accessing Gdocs, Facebook, (although I can't seem to get it to allow me to play my Lexulous games...if anyone can help?), mind mapping, grocery list (Grocery IQ is awesome!), and yes...Angry Birds. LOL

I bought the tablet to replace my old Windows XP tablet. Main use is for work. I'm a consulting engineer and prepare PDF's of all the construction documents. The tablet lets me quickly review current status of any project while at a job-site meeting. Typical project might have several hundred 30" x 42" drawings, a thousand pages of specificatons and various shop drawings, Request for Information, Construction Sketches, etc. Am using Repligo PDF reader which allows for bookmarks and renders pretty fast.

Of course, I have the other standard uses - Kindle Reader, watching videos, web surfing, etc.
