Acer Iconia video support?

Hey all,

Just curious, what stock video formats does the Acer Iconia A500 actually support? have one waiting for me, and I've seen several sites agree with a few video formats, but a couple have different formats listed. Can anyone tell me which formats it actually supports?

Google supported android honeycomb video formats and you have your answer. Off the top of my head... mp4, h268, webm... and a couple others I cannot recall. That said, other video players such as mobo video player, add additional video formats through software decoding. Therefore there's potencial that all video formats can be played on any android tablet. It just depends on the version and/or the app you're using.

As stated above, you can install other video apps, such as MX Video Player that will support additional formats such as avi, mpeg, .wmv, etc.
