ACER JELLY COVER / CASE....Just purchased!

Finally!
So I just got back from China and scored this official Acer jelly case for the A500. I bought it in the computer market district of Shenzhen, southern China- it is not a knock off. I have to guess that it will be coming to the US soon. Why we don't already have it here is incredibly frustrating; we all know how crappy the official Acer folding case is (yeah I bought one of those and have been very disappointed)

The case is VERY nice, fits like a glove, all the port cut-outs fit perfectly. The headphone jack, mini usb, hdmi, and usb ports all have folding flaps that click into place. Its' thicker than most jellies I've seen for ipads, but it's not bulky. The rubber is smooth and glossy and will surely protect from bumps and bruises.

Included inside the box is a screen protector and a hefty tablet stylus, as thick as a sharpie pen.

Be patient and we should have it in the US soon!

It certainly looks nice. My concerns about it are 1) no built in stand and 2) what does it weigh?

True, no stand but the rubber is "sticky" enough that you can stand it up against anything without it sliding down. I may buy a nifty little folding stand available from Amazon
The Weight- 5.5 oz or 155 grams on my little postal scale- it's very light

Is this the same as the soft silicone cases? I almost went with one of these, but I purchased a folding case instead.

I have one of these silicone covers:

It is poor fitting and I do not recommend them.
