Adding Notification Sounds on TF700

I have an Android phone: Samsung Galaxy 2 through Sprint and love Android. I have on it all kinds of noises associated with apps. How do I do that on my new ASUS tf700?

On the phone, I open the app or go through Manage Apps, and it gives me a place to pick a notification sound. But my tab doesn't have that option, or at least that I can find.

If I want to add a sound for gmail or something else, how do I do that??

Since ICS (and maybe HoneyComb) many of the notifications have been moved to the apps settings, not the global settings.

For GMail, with the app open tap the menu button (3 vertical boxes on the top right and choose Settings)

Tap your GMail address on the left. Select Ringtone & Vibrate. Select Ringtone and then pick your ringtone.
