Good morning all, I'm searching for a 7" tablet under $200 and I keep coming across the Elf. I have done lots of reading about it but still can't decide. I want a tablet that runs Ice Cream Sandwich, has HDMI out, has the ability watch netfilx and .avi files to so I can watch movies while running on the treadmill, surf the web and some other stuff.
I emailed chinagrabber and asked if the elf came with the full android market and they told me it did, but after watching a few videos I'm seeing that it doesn't. I know there's a fix for it and I'm pretty confident that through the power of google I can figure it out. I'm semi tech savvy, but will the elf be more trouble than it's worth for my first tablet?
I like the kindle fire since it's so widely available, but I am afraid that I won't be able to get some android apps that I like and use because they involve free ebooks.
