Aluratek Cinepad AT107F Screen capture

Just thought I'd post this bit of info. I had thought that screen-capture capability was built into Android 4.0. Turns out it is not implemented for the AT107F. I contacted the manufacturer (Aluratek) and was told they did not implement the screen capture capability for this tablet. And no, I'm not going to root my tablet.

ou don't have to root this device. It comes rooted out the box. Any screenshot application should work erfectly for you.

Try pressing POWER and VOL DOWN for about 3 seconds and see if that works. That is the screenshot ability that is supposed to be built into ICS.

That doesn't work either. I just tried various apps and they all worked.

I have an Aluratek AT108F and is absolutely NOT rooted out of the box. I just checked via "Root Checker" in the market. That said, where does one go for a root for this tablet.
