Am I missing something really obvious????

I am trying to read files on cd from a Samsung dvd reader. When I plug it in via USB the lights flicker so the A500 knows it is there, but I cannot see any kind of file management options to transfer files (ebooks) from the CD's to the tab.

Any help greatly appreciated.

Try installing a file manager app like MyPad, or Astro File manager.

If that doesn't work, the tablet might not have the functionality yet and may require an OS update.

I have installed Astro File Manager and it can see the dvd, flash drives etc. but does not seem to open them to allow me to move files around.
