Android 3.1 Update available for Google I/O 10.1 Galaxy Tab

Samsung has just released the Android 3.1 update for owners of the Google I/O edition Samsung Galaxy tab. Follow these quick steps and you'll be updated in a flash:

• Open the settings menu, and choose About tablet > Software update.
• Select Check for update
• Choose United Kingdom
• Sign in or create a Samsung account. The same account I use for my TV and Blu-Ray player worked just fine
• Read the terms, and sign in
• You should be prompted that a Firmware update is required, and given the choice to download it
