Android 5.0 for Acer Iconia One 7?

Greetings.

First, I apologize if this may have already been discussed, or not posted in the right place... I'm new here.

After searching around Google I found this community, hoping maybe I can find some information.

I just bought an Acer Iconia One 7 tablet from HSN and it currently has Android 4.4.2.

However, I'm aware of Android 5.0 (as well as Android 5.0.1) existing out there some where.

Does anyone know if this latest version will be coming to this specific tablet in the future?

I doubt it will come to your tablet by the usual means. At some point when someone has a ROM that works with your Iconia you would probably need to root it to get an upgrade.
