I am on a very low budget and have seen a cheap china 7" Touch Screen TFT LCD Google Android 2.1 Tablet PC w/ WiFi/Camera VIA WM8505 ARM926 533mhz
I have no experience of android at all, and dont know how it handles mass storage devices.
Now I know this isnt going to be very powerful or well made.
But it does come with an RJ45 connector, bit retro but this is what I will connect to my router.
All I want to use it for is a silent low power download, email device on my desk.
Can I use this and connect it to a 2.5" external usb drive and download data to it.
eg if I wanted a linux distro can I download the .iso via android and get it to save it to an external usb HDD.
Any info is helpful as I am a complete newbie to Android OS.
