Android Market troubles

I had things working fine until I took a net10 sim card an put it in the S7 (so much for that idea). It did not work correctly so I took it back out. I now can not get the android market to log in it keeps asking for my password but will not login. I have tried to reset the password and that did not work. I reaily do not want to default everything any suggestions.

Never mind after several more tries and turning off the gmail sync it got the password reset and was able to log in

My S7 was trying to sync and was locking my gmail account.
