android market wont download

Hi, i recently bought a Lexibook android tablet 2.1 and have installed android Market.apk all looks good until i try to download an app, i can search the market fine but all attempted downloads will say download unsucessful.

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated

How did you managed to install Android Market?

I believe you have to install also Google Apps, so that you can add a Google account to your device, which will grant you access to the market.
