Well had to join as there is just so much info here and as I am new to android I thought it would be best as that way I can ask questions.

Its the only way to learn!

I hope to be able to build my knowledge and maybe in the future help out others.

Hi Pbrauer i just recently got a pandigital ereader for my birthday and i cant figure out how to download Android apps for games. And i dont have a credit card so they have to be free. I need some help figuring this out.

Well, you need to have access to the market on your tablet, or you need to sideload the apps to your device. There are several stickies on these topics you can read to get started. Click the "Questions" link in my signature for a nice starting point.

not got a tablet yet but i have been looking for one for ages. Probably just start with a cheap one off ebay to get used to it.
