Android Tablet Help

I have an android tablet which has worked fine since I got it on April. A a few days ago, it started losing internet connection after about 5 minutes use. When this happens, I also lose internet connection on my laptop and phone and the only way to get them back is to turn the tablet off. Any ideas please?
