Hello, having just acquired a MID tablet and knowing nothing about how to use them , I discover that the User Manual does not apply to the the model I have, Help please.

First, welcome to the forum, glad to have you here. Second, unfortunately there really aren't manuals for a lot of these tablets....but luckily there are forums like this! Feel free to ask specific questions, and you will probably get all the answers you need.
