Another all android guy here

Hi there
yeah i know, another all android guy here, been with android since 1.6, all phones though,
Now i'm thinking of buying a tablet for my GF that I can use too, the main thing is I'm not sure what will do since i never had a tablet before, My gift idea was a tablet + netflix will 7 inches be enough to watch netflix comfortably or I need 10" one ? that's my first question,
I don't really care about the brand name all I really want is a small laptop replacement since she lost her laptop, and she only use it for social sites so instead of getting her a laptop a I'm thinking of a tablet,
2nd question : anyone know any tablet I can buy that is 10" and comes with or can be upgraded/moded to jellybean and are under $150 ?
