Thanks for letting me join.

I do have a question if I may? Can I use a external DVD/Blu ray drive on my Acer A501?

Any advice would be appreciated.

Short answer Dave - no you cannot! You can plug in an USB HDD like WD elements.

There are some who say you can but I have tried and it doesn't work.
