Anyone know anything about the Droid D1?

I have had the droid since it was released. Of course I rooted it and installed Cynogen mod but just recently I have to hit the power button three times to get the screen working. When i hit it once the menu buttons light up and respond but the screen is black so i hit it once more to sleep then on the third try it is fully awake.
Anyone know wtf is wrong with my droid

Also my recovery mode does not work anymore

I've had the D1 before, but it was never rooted, so I can't help there. I've noticed that my DX will do exactly that once-in-a-blue-moon (maybe once a day), so I'll keep an eye on this post to see if a answer appears. Thanks for the post.
