Just a few sources for apps that i've found helpful.

http://freewarelovers.com not the greatest, but it lets you download .apks directly

amazon app store probably the easiest and most trustworthy of the sources.

the built in slideme works ok, apps are limited. better with the update from the slideme.org site

mobilestore.opera.com offerings are slim and it might fight you a little with what type of device you have.

just throwing these out in a post to make life easier for all of us.
