Applications vanished

Suddenly all my non-stock applications have vanished from the stock launcher. I can see they are all still there by going into setup, but cant figure out how to launch them. I uninstalled one ( launcher pro ) and then reinstalled it, but it didnt reappear.

I got into the Android marketplace to reinstall it because I added the marketplace as a widget.

Immediately before this happened I was going to remove the stock launcher and replace it with launcher pro as suggested in another thread. But now I cant even find launcher pro to launch it.

I have tried rebooting twice with no success.

So to answer my own problem, I installed another launcher program from slideme4 since it was the only market I could get to at the time. Then I could once again see all my extra apps I had installed. From there I went to Home Switcher and switched/defaulted to Launcher Pro.

Lets see how long it lasts.

Next I am going to remove bluetooth, phone, launcher, etc with root explorer. Lets hope it keeps running.
