Archos, who are well-known for inexpensive Android tablets just announced a new ICS tablet. It's called the Archos 97, and although we don't have details on pricing or availability, we do have some specs:
  • Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich,
  • 7-Inch display with resolution: 1024 x 768 pixels
  • 1.4GHz single-core processor
  • 3G, Wi-Fi, GPS
  • 3.5mm headset jack
  • 2MP rear camera
  • VGA front-facing camera
  • 512MB of RAM
  • 4GB of internal memory, and MicroSD card support.
We do also know that it will be available in Europe and the U.S., and we share pricing and launch date specifics as we get them.

With the original kindle fire having and upgraded processor and priced at £130 this tablet would need to be cheaper than the kindle fire. Surely at this price the fire is hard to beat and spec is not bad.
