Assistance with identifying and rooting my flytouch

Hello ,
I've read some topics and before downloading a file a briking my tablet I'm asking for your kind guidance.
I bought this tablet –
$93.19 - 7" Touch Screen TFT LCD Google Android 1.6 Tablet PC w/ WiFi/Camera (VIA WM8505 ARM926) - Laptop Gadgets
it's ok but the only thing is that it doesn't have Hebrew fonts.
I've asked in the Hebrew forums for advice to install Hebrew fonts and was told to root my tablet. So I'm here.
Could you please guide my –
1. is it safe to root my tablet ?
2. which file should I download and how should I root it ?

1. What's the device's LED color when it's turned on ? Blue or Green ?
2. Does the tablet vibrate at start up ?
3. Does the tablet have a green or black audio port ?
4. Which connector has your tablet, 24 pins or 30 pins ?
5. Which WMT version is it ? You can find that rightunder when booting or in settings\about device.
6. What is your actual RAM Size ? 128MB or 256MB ? To find that out, use e.g. Advanced Task Killer to see what's free. Don't rely on the about settings dialog as this might be manipulated.
7. What did the box label say ? MID / iRobot / ePad / aPad / SmartPad etc.

6. it say 256MB (I don't know where to find advanced task killer).

Sounds just like mine, I downloaded "My Task Killer" from the market (only related result in an "Advanced Task Killer" search) and it said 99mb available, mind you I've slammed some built in apps to stop them from running.

I'd also like to find out what tab I've got and how to root it if need be.
