Asus Eee Pad Transformer compatable with Verizon Data service

I have the Asus Transformer and I'm trying to find the best solution for getting internet service when not in an area with Wifi like the car or a business without guest access. I've looked into a 4G Card but I'd first like to know if my tablet has the Verizon (or any other carrier) chip that can be activitated so it can work the way my Blackberry does. I also looked into tethering with my work provided Blackberrry (should have given me a Droid) but don't believe that it's possible. Any assistance would be appreciated. Thanks.
