Asus Transformer Prime Docking Station is not taking a charge

I've had this docking station connected for almost a week, charging several times the tablet battery but seemingly never the battery in the docking station. When I check the STATUS on the tablet, I see a percentage indicating the tablet's battery charge, but the icon preceeding it, (presumably the docking station battery) shows zero.
Am I missing something that I need to activate, etc. or do I have a defective docking station?

When I experienced the same issue, although I did not have the docking station, I had to replace the charger. MicroCenter carries the AC Adapter/chargers for $29.99. Now my tablet charges with no problem. The old charger still works to charge my phones, but doesn't generate the 15V needed to power the Tablet. Good luck!

Grab the Dual Battery Widget from the market. This gives a better indication of the dock battery level.
