Backup and restore - where is it?!?

I have a Android 4.0 tablet. Settings>Backup and reset, checked Back up my data and Automatic restore, and then Factory data reset. Got back online, signed into my google account...don't see a clue anywhere how to get apps and data back.

The items that Google was able to back up, which I have found to be surprisingly sparse but still very valuable, would get restored automatically. The problem is that most of what's being backed up has to do with settings, not so much with data.
