A little background on this unit.
Send in my SYTABEX7 and Digital Gadgets replaced it with a SYNET7LP.
The SYNET7LP ran great, and was brand new when I got it from Digital Gadgets.
Ran an update for it, through the Settings menu, and somehow the device got bricked.
Got my second SYNET7LP from Digital Gadgets.
It was definitely a used device.
Crumbs in the box, some sort of liquid was spilled or wiped across teh back of the unit.
The problems I'm having with this unit are:
- Unable to apply a factory reset, no recovery image found
(Tried a Terminal to find the HWVR, and its not getting me anywhere)
- A ton of "Force Close" errors.
(Happens with Settings menu, Calender, simple and complex things)
- Getting a purple hue on the screen, and the screen seems to be poor quality.
Video on my old SYNET7LP had awesome quality, this one almost makes a movie cartoonish, due to its lack of something.
Not sure what to do with this. Just seems like a piece of crap that someone else sent in, and I got it.
