Hi I am a new member. I have been searching everywhere to find away to switch to airplane mode or to delete the cell search on my tablet. It is a MID 7" model using version 2.3. The battery usage by cell search is between 70% and 80% leaving about an hour usage away from a power point. As the machine is not a mobile phone, what is the logic of cell searching.

Hi, I have similar tab, there are some apps which will help battery life, like you I wanted to delete phone s/ware but I'm unsure about it. Can't find any proper info anyware & don't want to brick my tab. I've upgraded to uberoid which helps & use android assistant app but still manually force close contacts progs and other stuff I don't use from time to time. I get between 3-5 hrs battery life depending on what I'm doing.
