Has anyone found a bluetooth keyboard which works with the VTAB1008?

I emailed support and was informed of the software it is compatible to.

I'm far from expert on BT but this site Bluetooth Profiles :: Radio-Electronics.com would seem to indicate that HID is needed for keyboards.

Your mileage may vary when using one of the many bluetooth keyboards. Some omit keys and others have keys that don't work. Basically most keyboards have typical asdf keyboards and maybe a few keystokes are programable too.

Key points to check out:
1. Bluetooth keyboards need to be set up. Drivers installed.
2. Scan to see if the Bluetooth signal is received and confirm connected.

Not trying to be a smartypants... but there are many posts on this forum related to the VTAB not providing native HID BT support. And, Vizio indicates this on their product page for the VTAB.

But recently, some folks on here have reported that the "Bluekeyboard JP" app found on the Android Market works. I tried it and found it to somewhat bridge the gap of what Vizio doesn't natively provide. It just doesn't fill the gaps completely to my satisfaction.

I prefer to wait around until Vizio provides native support.

bar designer cases, quality tablet keyboard cases are generally the most expensive types of tablet enhancement covers. particularly if you want them to last more than a few months
