Bluetooth tethering and iphone 3gs

Is it possible to tether the A500 Android 3.0 with the iPhone 3GS Bluetooth Personal Hotspot?

I just got the tablet and I want to be able to tether it like I can tether my laptop. I've tried everything.

I get the indication they are paired, but they are not connected.

no, its no way to get it work (Android 3.01).
with a iPhone 4 it's no problem.
