Hey guys,

Made a rookie mistake. I got excited about ROMs and flashed the wrong one on my WM8560. Its black, black headphone jack, no vibrate.

I loaded on a "S" option from the HYBRiD_WM8650_UBEROID_1.3.0_v3.1

Now I just get a red light, sometimes green if its plugged in. No screen action at all. I assume its toast.

Can they be connected to a PC using the USB adapter and a male to male cable? Would that give me access to the file system to restore the firmware?

You just need to download the correct one * and put in onto the SD card and then reboot the device. Do you know the makers site? It makes it sooooo much easier!

It won't even boot up off the SD card anymore. I tried a couple earlier that mostly worked (no audio or poor touchcreen), but now it won't even boot off the card

If you can load down the original firmware onto the SD then give it a try. The power button can be held in for 8 seconds for a hard reset, I think. This might help. Others have said if the battery dies then they get it back. Worth a try? Please report back if any of these work.
