It was just a little over a week ago that the Tegra 2 powered Viewsonic gTablet went up on sale on Woot for $279. That sale saw over 10000 orders in a day.
Dixons UK now has a very similar sale for the Advent Vega, for only £199.99 (or about $282USD). HotUKDeals is seeing quite a bit of heat on this deal as well.
The Advent Vega is very similar to the Viewsonic gTablet, with the exception of only supporting wifi g as opposed to wifi n on the Viewsonic gTablet, and differences in the casing design. Regular price is £250. It is an Android 2.2 powered by the same dual-core Tegra 2 processor at 1GHz, with 512MB RAM. The 10.1" display has resolution of 1024x600. Although it is an Android 2.2 tablet, it has various custom firmware customizations that make it a far better device than at stock configuration.
