Business Oriented Tablet

Hi guys I just joined the forum

Basically I'm looking for a tablet for one simple reason :

As I am already doing with my laptops (mac and pc) I connect to my business' servers through a VPN connection. Then, I can access our database and find files that I am looking for.

What I need my tablet to is exactly this, connect through VPN to our server AND access word/xlxs/PDF files from the tablet (can be read only I don't care).
I know that android tablets will connect to a VPN without problems, but can I access our public drives and browse directories to access files with it?

my question is more toward ICS than the tablet itself I guess.
If this thread is not in the right section, I apologize and mods feel free to move it.

I work in a pretty secure environment, and access pretty much everything I need either via VPN or if necessary I use Citrix Beta
