Calendar help needed

Hi All,

Just got my wife a 7" MID ALLWINNER tablet pc with Android 4, i am having problems getting the calendar to sync with her gmail account,
when i go into the calendar i have signed in with her gmail account but i am getting the message that there are no calanders to sync.

does anyone know how to over come this issue?
