calendar syncing issue

I have an acer ta 500 tablet, an evo phone and use the same google account, but my calendar won't sync. My goal is to enter an appointment on the tablet and sync it with my phone, so it will show up on it as well and the other way around, but it just won't do it. I can enter an appointment online on the google calendar and it syncs right away to phone and tablet, but once I enter something on the tablet or ohone it will not sync to anything. I don't know if it a setting issue or the way I;m doing it is wrong, but I sure would appreciate some help!/ Tha

I am pretty new to this also, but my calendar would not work until I selected the calender. Even if you only have one calendar, you still had to select it.

Then it all magicly worked.
