Can anyone help with configuring K9 mail?

Hi,

I've just bought my first tablet, an Asus Transformer. I love it, but wanted a POP3/SMTP mail client. I've got my incoming mail sorted no problem, but can't seem to get the outgoing mail working. I checked with my ISP and the server, user name and password are all OK. Would anybody have any suggestions?

SMTP can connect on ports 25, 465 (deprecated) and 587. Port 25 ("SMTP") is usually not encrypted, port 465 ("SMTPS") is usually SSL/TLS required and port 587 ("submission") is nearly always negotiated SSL/TLS. Whichever is used, ISP mail servers nearly always use AUTH PLAIN login. (Same for POP3/POP3S and IMAP/IMAPS, btw.)

You have to get all of the parameters right, or no connection.
