Can I Keep My Tablet on Constant Charge?

Hi. I have a generic Android tablet (iJoy) that I like to keep on my desk with a clock app open. Problem: the battery only lasts about 2/3 hours. Is it a bad idea to keep it on charge constantly so it does not turn off?

Welcome to the forum

It is generally not a great idea to leave it on change 100% of the time. Some tablets can tolerate that better than others but it's ify.

With that said, the worst thing that might happen is that you will fine that the battery may not be available when you need it but it depends some on the type of battery.

Turning your display down as far as possible and turning off everything except the clock app (WiFi, Bluetooth, etc.) will probably get you more than 3 hrs, but you'd be better off buying a little clock at the dollar store and using that instead.
