Can Not Open Books Added in Epub Format

Hi

I am new to the world of tablets and have just acquired a Toshiba AT300SE

I have tried adding books in epub format through Calibre to the Internal Storage but when I try to open them I get an error message saying "There is no associated application for this file type"
I have done the same with a memory card and get the same message

Is there a programme I need to download before it will work or do I just need to activate a file already on the tablet

Any help would be gratefully received

Hi LexLew, congratulations on your new AT300SE and welcome to the forum. Nice to have you as a member of Android Tablets. I'm using Aldiko on my N7 and it handles the epub format nicely.

I have gone down the Cool Reader route for the moment from leeshor's post
It was simple enough once I found my way round my tablet

I will try some of the other options when I get time

Thanks for the advice and I'm sure i'll be back with more questions before long
