Cannot Connect to Verizon DSL Wireless

I just purchased a Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 and am unable to connect to my wireless router. I can see it on the Tab when I go into the wi-fi area, and I can see the Tab on the router when I look at it online. When I am in the router, it sees the Tab, but says that it's disconnected. I can connect at work and I can connect to an unsecured wireless network somewhere in my neighborhood, but I cannot connect to my own wireless. Any thoughts?

Does your router use MAC filtering?

Some routers (including some supplied by Verizon for DSL) have a settings option for toggling 802.11/b /g /n protocols. I had to enable this feature to connect to my Verizon router with one of my older tablets. Might be worth browsing into the Verizon box and taking a look, if you haven't already done so. Hope that helps.
