can't down load apps for android mini pad

help, I've just got my android for 3 days and have been trying to download some apps such as amazon kindle ans some games but it keep telling me that download is unsuccessful. I get search the web and go on face book etc...

I am having the same issue. I can't download anything including from the Market. I have used the older version and have had no problems with downloads just wondering if there is something special I should be doing with the 2.3.1 version?
