Can't download borrowed nook book?

My wife has a stock nook. She wants to lend me a book she finished. I'm on CM7 with the nook app. The loaned book shows up in my app, but I get an error every time I try to download. Tells me to contact B&N customer service. I've tried wiping data and reinstalling the app. Any ideas?
