Can't use my micro sd card

I bought a tablo android tablet with android 2.3.4 and a 32gb memory card. But when I put the memory card it says I have 30.61gb free under settings/storage but when I try to download stuff for a game I get a message saying not enough free space on the memory card. Can anybody please tell me how I save to my sd card ?

When your downloading apps they download to a different part and that is probably what's to full

I got a eternal legacy apk on my sd card and installed it but it needs to download 900+mb of data so I can use it how do I download the data to my sd card or how I move data to the sd card
