Cant write to or modify sdcard2

Been using Astro and a few other file managers with no problem, until this morning, now i cant write to, delete items, or modify sdcard2. I think i have always been getting to it by navigating to mnt/sdcard2 but can only read from it, no modifications. All of the sudden the ony way i can do anything with sdcard2 is with toshiba's file manager, which works perfectly.

things i have tryed:

formating the card fat32 (works fine in other devices)
buying a NEW card
factory restore of the tablet

Any help ?

I have a feeling I am getting to sdcard2 the wrong way all of the sudden, but dont seem to see it anywhere but in /mnt/sdcard2
