Chuwi v9 help, please.

Hello, I have a Chuwi v9 tablet running ICS 4.0.3, and I was wondering if I can root it and install a custom ROM on it?
Basically, what I want to do is:
Have a custom boot logo, integrate custom wallpapers and .apk files, and not lose any of the aforementioned tweaks after performing a custom reset. Also, if possible, changing the model number? Oh and I'll be installing this on several Chuwi v9 tablets, so I figured a custom ROM would be ideal for this.
If I have other options, or if there's anything else I can do, please do tell. Otherwise, can anyone here guide me through what I want? I come from iPhone land and I'm new to all of this.

Why thank you! I can't seem to download the firmware file, though. I don't know Chinese, and Google Translate isn't much help. Any other suggestions?

It took a reset - Hard reset CHUWI
Began to press in different order button and the volume + or -
As a result, there was a window of settings and tests (sound, screen, sensors)
In the menu, choose 2 and pressed the button in the left column, second from the top
Tablet reboot and reset setting
More repeat this combination I could not
