CM7 on SD - Mail Apps Hang-ups

I am using CM7 on SanDisk 8gb micro sdhc. Whenever I try to reply or delete on the gmail or the yahoo mail app - it hangs up. I have to force close it. Has anyone else had this problem or know what I need to do to fix?
I want to be able to use my nook as a traveling tablet but always having this prob with the mail apps is frustrating.

I would recommend you skip the 2 dedicated apps and just use the main mail app that comes with CM7. You can set up multiple accounts with it.
